i was really bored and home and i got tired of staring at all the ~~hard~~ heart stuff that we are learning about now so i decided to look around at clothes online. (cos i haven't really like bought anything in ages and i need some retail therapy!!! okay super deprived.

anyway i really like this shirt from pull and bear! its cute! and not that expensive! i hope they have it in stores i shall try to like buy it when i go out! i went to town the other day and i went into the pull and bear stores but i didn't see it! unfairrrr. its so nice and cute.

i think the reason while retail therapy works is that you feel happy owning something new and that gives you something to look forward to. but anyway i got class later so i better stop slacking around.

YAYYYYYY! NYCO got GWH! (: somehow it bring back memories for me when we were sitting on the red cushioned seats of SCH 4 years ago, all holding our hands as it came to the time for our results. i will always remember mrs ee telling us not to cry if we got gold because that would be very un-spotmanship-ish (bad english but whatever) but we all really only wanted GWH anyway. when the announcer said GOLD....we were all waiting to see what would come after that and when he said....with HONOURS we starting screaming the entire hall down haha.

but anyway i am proud of NYCO. though i am so old probably few of the juniors know me HAHA but anyway i am really glad for them! when i heard their chun it reminded me of the time we played it for artsfest, exactly the same yangqin solo at the front and exactly the same fast scale leading to the hou ban pais that xy always screw up. but i couldn't help but nod my head along to the melody and tap my feet. (: and after they played, yonghui, ziwei and i didn't say anything about it because we all knew it was good.

so anyway, i will be there on MAY6!!!!! maybe the whole day. listening to HCCO play for SYF. JIA YOU!

haha i am quite happy that its finally thurs! and that the past week is over. today i woke up really really late cos i was tired from the past week. good friday service seemed unusually important because i was giving an item and my grandma was also getting baptised (: (: so after that hurdle it all seemed better. monday was nerve-wreking cos i took the btt and i was so worried!! but it was okay in the end (:

and tues was the all impt and scary interview but it went....okay i guess i mean there were moments that i was really afraid but i stuck it out to the end telling myself i had to be strong or the interview would go horrible. so well there were some good mements but i can't really tell how it was. as with other interviews, i went there and only talked to people before the interview haha. met quite nice people and talked more to this girl from rjc. she's really quite nice.

its the time of the year for SYF!!! i really want to go back to visit the juniors but there aren't much people who are free to go with me. when are the practices anyway? if anyone knows tell me! if anyone wants to go visit tell me also! i have been quite free these holidays cos only working part time and the pay is not too high but i am quite happy (: at least i have time to go out with my friends and my family and prepare uni apps.

i think i will miss many people when uni starts. i think many of my friends would probably go overseas, depending on what they get locally 1st. personally, i don't think i will go overseas. oh well must make the most of the rest of the 'holidays' to meet up with people!

i am back! hk was well quite okay, didn't really stay that long there anyway, i didn't get to go disneyland like i wanted to ): so no nice rides or cute souveniers. i only went around shopping a bit. you know people always say that hk is a place where you shop and eat and shop and eat? well the stuff there are really ex! ): maybe it was just the place where i was living in lah. all the shops there sell expensive stuff that were branded (e.g. prada, LV blah blah). i did buy some stuff at some less expensive area though but not much.

and i fell sick when i was there! ))): i think it must have been the cup noodles i ate for breakfast the 3rd day. i felt sick the entire day and didn't eat anything much and finally threw up at night. (good thing i was smart enough to run to the toilet before i threw up). so i was a sick little girl for the next few days. and when i was at the airport going back to s'pore, i found out the mr happy tag on my keychain HAHAZ gave to me was gone ): i think i dropped it while shopping.

oh well at least i got to see hongkong and while i didn't get much, it is quite a nice place to shop if you are into the branded and high-end stuff. even if you are not i think that you can get some cheap bargains if you know where to shop. they sell really cheap boots! but they also only sold mostly winter stuff cos its winter season which is also why i never buy much ):

anyway i am glad to be back so i can sleep more! i woke up early and slept late when i was overseas. update me on THE CLUB outing too! <3

HELLO i am super lag in posting about the co concert but it was really a blast! thanks for everyone who went and gave me something or for just being there (: haha. it feel kind of sad to not be in co anymore and i wish i had a video of our own czardas to post but then i don't have a video of it and i don't know anyone who does. but anyway! i heard many good things about it so YAYY i am very very proud of xianyue and it feels weird to be stepping down. so without further ado, here are the pictures which i took so long to upload cos my father took the wire to his office.

HELLO i koped this from dennis' blog and it was quite amazing haha.

but anyway! interviews concluded just yest and we spent like 2.5 hours deciding the posts! it was quite tiring but i am glad we spent so much time debating about it and coming to a decision (: ziwei was telling me how we are going to step down so soon then suddenly i feel that i am going to miss hcco a lot. despite the tiring practices and how it stresses me sometimes, it has still been very fun.

and suddenly czardas seems like a super impt item to me! i mean we have always been practicing it but it never struck me how impt this song is to us as a section and it is even more impt for us to play it well (: the other day when we were at avt and i was leading in the practice, it was quite amazing when everyone played together. despite the fact that we are probably not as good technically as the imba bass player in the video haha, personally, the ending part felt so much nicer when i was standing at the front and hearing the rest of the section play together. i could feel them really concentrating and its so much more meaningful when you play it with a group of people who you have been through so much with. it touched me when everyone played together cos i could feel from the music that czardas was impt to them too.

as much as being sl has been tiring for me, at the end of it all i felt it was an extremely rewarding experience and as noisy as our section may be, i am proud of all of you! i <3 HCCOXYZ

hahaha finally had a XIANYUE OUTING!!! after so long, at 1st almost everyone was going to come! then slowly slowly lesser and lesser people could make it esp the juniors hahaha. oh well but it was fun anyway (: we went to go and eat at marina square 1st at the food court! and i bought a $5 set that had so much food so i ended up sharing my food with a lot of people haha, and we played a bit of bridge after that.

then it was time for bowling! (: we had 3 lanes to ourselves hahaha, then we keep laughing at the people who guttered the ball funnily, (even though i did also gutter a few times). we wanted to play against the juniors actually but then there were only 4 of them vs. 10 seniors :/ hahaha so in the end we just anyhow play.

the ball i throw rolls really really slow like a snail, but the ones that roll slower are more accurate anyway haha. besides, because of my snaily balls, i stuck the machine ~~a lot of times~~ a few times hence i got to go more times YAY. but being the ~~lousy bowler~~ honest person i am (haha!) i always gutter the extra tries that i have (: as expected anyway dennis got the highest score! (see i knew that he was pretending haha)

then we went to go and 3eat again haha, cos ziwei, john, ben and gimthia never eat yet! the rest started playing bridge leaving only ziwei, dennis, gimthia and i sitting around talking rubbish. actually ziwei was the one talking rubbish while we just sat around and laughed haha. we went to the outside of marina to sit around again and talk about random stuff but soon went home! where i was so tired that i went to sleep quite fast!

hahaha. yesterday concluded all the HCCO interaction preparation! it was quite fun seeing all the participants trail in, even though we did start quite late. haha, the video was quite nice, but i don't know if the participants really understood it or enjoyed it hmmm. i didn't get to see a lot of the games because i was too busy tying close to 1000 water bombs at the canteen with the other mass games people! 960 to be exact.

i am actually supposed to be doing pw now but i am waiting around for my groupmate to send me the last edited version so i can do the word count! pw is so ))))):!!! i can't wait for it to be over. its like i spent 6 straight hours doing it today! while i could be happily in the mph playing bridge/doing bio tut with ziwei and lalaaa. oh well, i shall not complain, must not give up!

its been a long long long long time since i last posted but there is nth really interesting haha! except that i dreamt that i forgot to do an entire essay for econs (another random exam not promos :/) and then i was like so dead! and i dreamt of henghui! henghui should come back soon!

promos results were....okay haha. i was quite surprised by GP though but that is only because my GP is always low lowwww way below the 50 percentile mark. chem was ): but nvm i shall be contented. and econs was haha well okay considering i was so worried that i would seriously get a U cos i wrote utter rubbish for elasticity.

i haven't blogged like in one month! and i only realised that when i saw the date on my last post hahaa. i think i am slow oh welll. (: i have a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot of work to do but then i feel lazyyyyy. which is bad. considering there is both bio and chem lect test coming up and i have to finish my pi by today to email to ms claire. and the best part is, i have to change my groundbreaker so i have work cut out for me. (and i have done zero research so far)

that is no including the part that i slept 5 hours (!!!) today coa i was so sleepy after the fac outing haha. i agree with cheryl that i don't really like socialising much haha. so i just basically sat around and erm stoned haha. and then went to disturb some people like ziwei and shiyu. but at least i did my part to cheer for sean and rachel! (until i got a sore throat) HAHA oh well.

hopefully sports day will be fun fun fun. (though there is a long prac for co after that, not to mention the fact that i went for co for 8 days consecutively only having a break today)

so actually...i deserve that 5 hours of sleep HAHA

hahaha. i was at erhu lesson today. (and as usual i ~~need~~ will prac much more!)

anyway, xulaoshi saw the rjc and hc uniform cos we were wearing it.

xls: wah why all the jc uniforms all so ugly these days? the hc uniform is so dull the rj one is okay but the skirt colour looks a bit off.
me: yeah its kind of too green
xls: yes it is! i wonder why its all so ugly these days
zhanglaoshi: i know why! it must be because in jc the girls become prettier and the boys become more handsome and hence they are trying to make them look uglier!

what an interesting revelation hahaha. i found it quite amusing. i mean it sounds somewhat logical HAHA cos right if everyone is uglier then they won't get into relationships then they can concentrate on erm jc work. zhanglaoshi is good at coming up with such conclusions!

on a side note: erhu exam is in like 12!!! days

i haven't blogged in quite a long time and i attribute this to the fact that i hvn't been coming online for like quite a long time too. so its not that i am lazy! oh well

HAPPY CNY EVERYONE! thanks to all the nice nice people who bothered to drop me an sms to wish me happy cny. even though i didn't reply most of it, you all are still very special and i am very thankful yay.

oh so this week has been busy busy with vday! when i was trying to rush out presents etc. so i want to thank every single one for erm whatever they gave! its all much appreciated and made be feel loved and happy! haha. i don't really feel like typing every single one here now that vday is ages past, but i know whoever who i want to thank knows that i am thanking them right? yes very good haha ((:

then it was cross country too! i <3 cross country at hc its so slack. like everyone is strolling so i don't feel so bad about strolling haha. and its actually fun cos you can chat with your friends while looking at the nice scenery (and hide from the monkeys). so this year my nice strolling partners are ziwei, adeline and rachel (goh from my class 07s78 <3). yay.

and and of course there is cny celebrations which i erm kind of hun-ned through the performance but nvm, since i know a lot of people wasn't really listening....right? and there was mass dance session which i just hopped around and attempted to dance. oh oh! and i am quite happy our class made a profit from the class sale since i i was quite tired making cookies and cupcakes! yay for 07s78! and and and of course...the fac dance session! <333 okay i shall not talk much about it or it will seem...inconsiderate.

ooh so my cny was quite okay for now except that i get tired easily so i guess i will faster finish up and get some rest....soon. yes. yay. happy cny once again!

there is so much work these days i hvn't got any time to really take a breather. i just sent my part of econs ilp to my groupmates and i really really really hope its okay cos i completely have like zero idea how i am supposed to do it. i am terribly sorry to my groupmates. if its not okay, tell me to change it k? ):

so anyway other than that there is still other work to be done and i really sld be here blogging but i hvn't blogged in a long time and i thought i should.

on friday i was being the usual accident prone self and i banged myself to some architecture thing in hc that was jutting out cos i was trying to squeeze myself to the stairs. and hance i got a bump on my head ): and my class was like AHH why are you so careless. but anyway the bump is kind of better so yay. besides, it wasn't big to start with lah yup.

i was on the bus when this random old lady came on with her daughter and started talking to me and telling me that her daughter is also from ny (i was wearing hongzi) and she is a doctor now. and i was like super surprised but to uphold the good name of my school (HAHA) i replied her very nicely haha. so we were having this conversation suddenly she asked me what is my standard, as in sec what?

And she said....."are you sec 3?" and i was like o.O and i said erm no i am in jc already. and she is like "OH! really"

Then a few minutes later, her daughter (who wasn't in the conversation before that) look at me and said "are you sec 2?" and i am like !!!!!! BUT i maintained my composure and said, "Erm, no i am in jc"

And then she proceed on to tell her mum how young i looked. so now i am sad for looking young ): do i really look sec 2? (tell me no)

But anyway, they are really nice people and i even got a namecard from the old lady of her doctor daughter. She owns her own clinic at Gleneagles! So accomplished.

i feel obliged to post somehow after my traumatic fall and making all those people around me worry so much. i am terribly sorry that you all got so worried.

so anyway i was walking (not hopping, britt) down the stairs when suddenly my shoes slipped and i kind of like bounced down erm a few steps. and then i thought i was okay but when i stood up i got like really really dizzy etc. and my head hurt. so essentially i sat at the steps and cldn't move. after that i got carried up but half way i got too heavy apparantly and hence i ended up lying on the floor.

so anyway, i think i am okay now just that i can't run around or jump around too much etc but thanks to everyone who asked after me and got so worried for me. i feel loved (: it was then that i realised i have so many great friends and very fortunate indeed haha.

i think my class is full of nice people who were like waiting around with me when i fell and looking really anxiously at me. even though i was in pain i still saw them (: so i just wanted to thank everyone YAY. even when i came back to school after going to the hospital ( i am a really bad patient) a lot of people in my class asked how i am. despite knowing them for only a week, they are still so concerned yay. <3 07s78

oh and thanks to everyone who went to the sickbay/asked after me. esp to britt, ziwei,sam and hh. i am sorry i got you all so worried about me. oh and sorry to everyone who were late for bio lecture and got punished because of me.

i feel depressed!. i remember saying that if they ever change me out of 07S76 i am going to fall into depression and be super sad. and i think it really came true after all. just that its not that extreme. oh well hopefully tmr will be a better day.

for some weird reason i find myself wishing i was in gep again just so i can be with my friends again.

thanks to all who came to attempt to comfort me and tell me to be happy and optimistic like i am supposed to be yup. for all of your sake i will try to be happy. <333

its only 2 more weeks to jc life.

half of me feels like, "oh yay! how fun, a new experience. new friends and new subjects etc. and orientation will be interesting! (((: (i think so anyway) -insert a lot of happy thoughts-"

then the other half of me is like, "oh no, back to studying. what if jc life is really horrible? what if i dislike my class or i am like really bad at all the subjects? -insert a lot of worrying thoughts-"

i don't know what to think hmmm. last time when i was in p1 and 2 i used to wake up everyday and tell my mother ,"i don't want to go to school!" and she would tell me, "okay okay. don't need to go to school." and then she will help me wear my uniform and send me down to take my school bus and i still go to school anyway. :/

i shall choose to be optimistic!!! (((: it can't be that bad...right? (:
